→BUT, OUR FURA HEALTH CARE CONSULTANT SAYS:

  1. Sit tight; Anthem is legally required to contract you in the mail, IF YOU WERE HACKED, then act according to Anthem’s advice. When will you be advised,…?
  2. If you want to act now, take the suggestions on Page 2, Fresno Bee, 2-6-15.
  3. Do not call Anthem—not now anyway.
  4. Be vigilant re. your CREDIT CARD statements. Check even the smallest charges, as the bad guys charge small amounts to see if you’re are paying attention.
  5. Phishing: GET DEFENSIVE — do not open any UNKNOWN EMAIL ATTACHMENTS. Do not respond to requests for personal info—even if the sender looks real. Call the sender and verify before answering by email.
  6. ATTEND THE FURA ANNUAL MEETING ON 5-20-15 FOR AN UPDATE FROM THE DELTA/ANTHEM BLUE CROSS REPRESENTATIVE.(AND MUCH MORE)

  1. I live in Nebraska, so can’t get the issue of the Fresno Bee mentioned. I went to the Bee’s website, and searched for the information. Couldn’t find it.
Could you post the Bee’s article on this website or email copies to all on your list.

    1. You can check with your local Better Business Bureau or your bank or credit union. They have documents/brochures as to what to do when you are involved with a hack like this. You can also log onto the websites for the credit report companies. You can see if your insurance company gives you id protection. Mine does. You can see their advice and info at calcas-idtheft.com.

      1. Just a further heads up, I and at least one other I know of are victims of identify theft as a result of the Anthem data breach. Don’t let your guard down. The real fun may just be starting a year after the breach took place. As someone mentioned earlier, go the http://www.anthemfacts.com to start enrolling in All Clear Pro so that your credit bureau accounts can be monitored. If you are a victim of identify theft, put fraud alerts with the three credit bureaus. And file a police report!

  2. Thank you MRS. Walt for the VSP / FURA info on the phone. However, the time of the May 20 meeting is not on the website, or I can’t find it. Please post on the Welcome page and at least two other pages. Thank you!!!

    1. Hello Mike, this is the Admin for the website. Thank you for your comments, I will talk with Tim and see if we can get it implemented on the Calendar.

  3. I do not see Judge Franson’s judgment and also Bezemek’s letter which the newsletter says are attached. Went to the FURA web site also and can’t find these two attachments. Am I doing something wrong?
